Exciting Updates to Riftbound: Free Download for Apple Devices Now Available!

Riftbound, a popular mobile game, has just received some thrilling updates that are sure to delight players of all levels. As part of our ongoing efforts to improve and balance the game, we've made several significant changes to the Lich Boss encounter.

One of the most notable changes is the addition of new visual effects (VFX) for when you reflect the Lich Boss's attack. This will make it easier to recognize when an opportunity arises to deflect its attacks, making it more obvious and increasing its effectiveness against tough enemies. To further aid your reflexes, we've also introduced a targeting indicator that shows exactly which tile the reflected attack will hit.

These changes have allowed us to balance the spells separately, giving players more options and strategies to employ in battle. Speaking of spells, we're excited to introduce a new addition to the Riftbound arsenal: Crystal Shield!

Crystal Shield is a powerful new spell that offers high damage reduction, making it an essential tool for navigating the challenges of boss battles. Unlike Spirit Shield, which has been retired from reflecting boss attacks (but still maintains its other stats), Crystal Shield takes its place as the go-to shield for deflecting enemy attacks. And the best part? It comes with no energy cost!

As a result of these changes, we've split the original Spirit Shield spell into two separate versions: a standard version and a boss-specific version. This allows players to choose the right tool for the job, whether it's taking on tough enemies or facing off against formidable bosses.

Finally, we've removed a previously hidden Achievement called 'Master Summoner,' which was mistakenly made available too early in the game's development. This achievement was originally intended for an extra-hard level in the campaign (which ultimately wasn't needed due to the existing hard mode being already quite challenging).
